Anderson Peters Opts to Turn Pro After His Sophomore SeasonBy Adam Kopet Anderson Peters announced Monday on Twitter that he will give up his final two years of collegiate eligibility to turn pro.
Peters, of Mississippi State, is a two-time NCAA champion in the javelin. He ranks third on the collegiate all-time list and owns six of the top-10 all-time collegiate marks. This year, representing Grenada, Peters won the NACAC U-23 Championships, the Pan American Games and the IAAF World Outdoor Championships. His personal best of 286-5 (87.31m) came at the Pan American Games. More news |
