Bolt Still Adamant He Will Retire After World ChampionshipsBy Adam Kopet, DyeStat Editor Usain Bolt has repeatedly made it clear that he intends to retire after this year's IAAF World Championships. During his career Bolt, now 30, has earned eight Olympic gold medals and 11 world titles. He holds the world records for the 100 and 200 meters, and was a part of the team that set the 4x100 relay world record. "Everybody wants me to continue, but it's not as simple as it is," Bolt told the BBC. "I've done what I wanted to do." According to Sport24, Bolt has a bet with his managers. They believe within two years of his retirement, Bolt will have developed a belly. Despite a well known enjoyment of the party lifestyle, Bolt contends he will keep his waistline under control.
