After a stumble in practice, world record holder jumps back on the track and wins going away

At the Doha Diamond League meeting Friday, 100m hurdle world record holder Keni Harrison once again put on a show, simply dominating the world-class field with a 12.59 performance, good enough to rank as the second fastest performance of the year, only trailing her 12.56 victory last week at the Drake Relays. 

What made Harrison's performance that much more remarkable was that she broke her wrist during warm-ups after spilling over a hurdle. Despite the fracture, Harrison pushed through the pain and continued her Diamond League success (she won the Diamond League title last year). 

After the race, Harrison was rushed off to the hospital to get xrays and treatment. It'll be fascintating to follow Harrison over the coming weeks as she recovers, as the Diamond League season continues on and the 100m hurdle star having to choose whether fly back to the United States and rest or push forward and continue to compete.
