Christopher Caudillo, a sophomore at Clovis High, finished fourth in the boys invitational 3,200 meters in a personal-best 8:51.98 at the 53rd Arcadia Invitational at Arcadia High. Caudillo improved more than 16 seconds from April 24 at the Meet of Champions Distance Classic at the same venue, elevating to No. 3 all-time in the Central Section for 3,200 and fourth overall in section history, including 2-mile conversions. Caudillo also won his section in the open mile earlier in the day in 4:15.49.
