Carey McLeod, an Arkansas senior representing Jamaica, won the men's long jump title with a wind-legal leap of 27-1.25 (8.26m) at the NCAA Division 1 Championships at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin, Texas. McLeod became the first male athlete since LSU's JuVaughn Harrison in 2021 to sweep indoor and outdoor long jump titles. He is also the first Arkansas male competitor to capture indoor and outdoor long jump crowns in the same year since Jarrion Lawson in 2016, with Robert Howard (1997), Erick Walder (1992-94) and Mike Conley (1984-85) also achieving the feat for the Razorbacks.
