Tzuriel Pedigo, a junior at LSU, won the men's javelin throw title with a lifetime-best effort of 261-9 (79.79m) in the third round at the NCAA Division 1 Championships at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin, Texas. Pedigo, the 2021 champion at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore., became the first two-time winner for the Tigers. Pedigo, who took third last season, is also the first male competitor to win a pair of javelin championships with a year in between since Arizona's Esko Mikkola in 1998 and 2000.
