Harvard's Stephanie Ratcliffe, representing Australia, won the women's hammer throw title with an opening-round mark of 241-7 (73.63m) at the NCAA Division 1 Championships at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin, Texas. Ratcliffe joined teammate Kenneth Ikeji to complete the Harvard hammer sweep for both men's and women's competitions, becoming the first program to capture both titles since Virginia Tech in 2011.
