Poppy Tank, the reigning British women's 3,000-meter steeplechase champion, placed second in her first outdoor race of the year by clocking a personal-best 10:00.17 at the 64th Mt. SAC Relays Presented by Nike at Hilmer Lodge Stadium in Walnut, Calif. Tank improved from her winning performance of 10:02.77 to capture the British title in July in Manchester.
