Tarik Robinson-O'Hagan, a sophomore at Mississippi, repeated as men's hammer throw champion with a second-round performance of 230-2 (70.17m) at the Southeastern Conference Championships at James G. Pressly Stadium in Gainesville, Fla. Robinson-O'Hagan became the first back-to-back winner since Florida's Thomas Mardal in 2019 and 2021, in addition to the first male athlete to win in consecutive years since Georgia's Denzel Comenentia in 2017-18. The Rebels took three of the top four spots and had four athletes finish in the top eight to accumulate 24 points, the highest total by any men's program since Georgia amassed 26 points in 2003.
