Marc Anthony Minichello, a graduate student-athlete at Georgia, repeated as winner of the men's javelin throw with a sixth-round performance of 255-7 (77.92m) at the Southeastern Conference Championships at James G. Pressly Stadium in Gainesville, Fla. Minichello has won consecutive titles after Mississippi State won four in a row. He became the first male competitor from Georgia to secure back-to-back crowns since Brian Moore in 2010-11.
