Jasmine Mitchell, a senior at Ole Miss, became the first female athlete in program history to win the women's hammer throw title with an opening-round effort of 223-3 (68.06m) at the Southeastern Conference Championships at James G. Pressly Stadium in Gainesville, Fla. Mitchell overcame competing with a broken left foot to help the Rebels become the first program to sweep both women's and men's hammer throw titles in the same year since Georgia in 2017, with sophomore Tarik Robinson-O'Hagan repeating as men's champion.
